For all our courses we
complete a full and meaningful assessment of learning and training effectiveness.
This evaluation can help our clients assess return on investment, and can be
used to identify and support further training.
We provide feedback sheets for all trainees to complete at the end of each
training programme. These are a means of collecting the views and feelings of
trainees about the course design, delivery, opportunity for learning and utility
of skills gained.
In addition to assessments of learning carried out during a training programme,
learning gain is assessed through the completion of key learning objectives
questionnaires (KLOQ). The KLOQ seeks to quantify learning achieved by posing
relevant behavioural questions based on the key learning outcomes for the session.
The results of both the feedback sheets and KLOQ’s are combined to produce
a Training Evaluation and Validation Summary which
is provided to the training sponsor on completion of the training programme.
Furthermore, for management development programmes it is recommended that skills
transfer is evaluated by comparing 360 degree feedback from managers and peers,
prior to training and around 3 to 4 months after training.
If required, a qualitative assessment of the organisational impact of training
can be provided through post-training interviews and observations. We can also
assist in defining appropriate key performance indicators to help quantify the
organisational level impact of training.
