Bio

I offer tailored in-house training on a wide range of subjects thanks to having over 30 years combined experience in Industry and Education.  I worked in the engineering industry for over 10 years, 5 of which I spent running an engineering company in France and 6 months based in America.  I speak fluent French and am conversant with engineering terms and the nature of the work.  I also worked for 6 years in construction and have coached over 50 people from all industries.  My combined skills can help your organisation to improve productivity, and deal with issues faced by Managers in today's competitive environment.


As a fully qualified Teacher (Cert Ed) I was rated Excellent by Ofsted when I worked for 7 years at a Birmingham College of Further Education where I taught at all levels and all aspects of Business Management (ILM, CMI and NEBS), Business Studies and French for 7 years, before setting up my own training company. 


I continued to work for the College as a freelancer specialising in Communication skills and delivering training such as Manageing Stress, Managing Conflict etc. 


I devised a workshop for all Heads of Department called 'Giving Feedback Following Classroom Observation' to help improve the skills of those observing the teaching staff so that the quality of teaching improved as a result. 


I then carried out Pre-Inspection Training to all members of teaching staff.  When the college merged with another I delivered Interviewing Skills Techniques to help staff to secure a new post. 


More recently, I have been working as a Freelance Marketing Consultant and Business Coach using my skills and experience on a 1:1 basis, which I still offer.



Using my skills as a management trainer and coach I can help to improve and develop skills and performance to give your business a competitive edge, build confident staff, maximize profits, increase outputs and improve motivation levels through affordable and effective training.

I am approachable and my courses are pitched at the right level for your staff. 

In House Bespoke Training

I specialise in preparing and delivering training for Managers and general training for all staff to improve skills and knowledge.  I have the ability to identify training requirements and can carry out a Training Needs Analysis for you of your staff if you require.  All in house training will be tailored to your needs.
